The Studek Project

During planning phase of our new web site we specified several goals to achieve: strike down local competitors, inform our current and possible future clients about our extended offer, do it all the way that is not duplicated pattern, but funny and interesting enough to provide returning traffic to our site.

One of the ideas that ought to provide such "coolness" was a dog that "jumps around" and "do things". The dog's name is Studek and now it is our virtual pet. On a daily basis we do serious things like: programming, web site development and marketing - Studek is our way of saying "We are not boring! We have imagination! We can do things others can not do!". Studek informs, plays, encourages users to water our tree, which is another attraction. Every person that visits our Web Site can water the tree once a day and let the tree grow.

Another interesting effect is change of the top part of the site based on current day time of the user. Sun's movement in the day, and Moon's in the night is synchronised with your computer's clock - colour scheme of the top part is also synchronised with day time.

Goal of the project

Main goal of the project is to expand Studiotg's image. We would like to encourage people to come back and see what the tree looks like in the morning or midnight, how is the dog, what the site looks like. Every 500 entry is awarded - we would like to have the best possible relations with visitors. All that effort put into the project is meant to be technical background of our viral marketing strategy (that is already paying off!).

Our new web site is an example of a site that do not have to be simple and template-based, but be interesting and dynamic. This is an example of web site that ca achieves marketing goals and bring measurable profits.

We are creative and that are not boasts! Realization of this project is an effect of complex work of many specialist from many different fields. We want to encourage companies to make the most of information technologies and it's potential.
